Favre-Leuba’s first diving watch, the Water Deep from 1960, laid the foundations for the company’s success in this category. The Deep Blue followed in 1963. Waterproof for up to 200 m, it quickly became a favorite companion for all underwater adventures.
The minimalistic design of the dial with its generously dimensioned, luminous index marks and the distinctive hands guarantee perfect readability in all light conditions. The color-contrasting rotating ring at the edge of the dial helps with the adherence to diving and decompression times during ascent. It lies under glass and can only be operated via a crown, thus preventing accidental resetting. For easy and safe operation, the winding crown is positioned at 4 o’clock, and the crown for rotating this ring at 2 o’clock.
